Rosedale Health and Rehab is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing operations and help deliver resident-centered care in a skilled nursing setting.

This full-time role partners with the Director of Nursing to oversee staffing, compliance with CMS and state regulations, staff development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives, with potential to step into the Director role as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience in SNF/Long-Term Care.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and CMS regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to motivate, support, and lead diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with oversight of nursing operations.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and coordination to ensure appropriate clinical coverage.
• Provide hands-on clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations.
• Support care planning, assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with infection control and risk management programs.
• Promote a positive, resident-centered care environment.
• Step into the Director of Nursing role as needed in their absence.
