Care Initiatives in Cedar Rapids, IA, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN to lead the nursing team, ensure high-quality resident care, and support the DON in planning and operations.

You will mentor staff, monitor care delivery, enforce policies, and participate in on-call rotations. Must hold an active Iowa RN license and CPR certification. Competitive benefits and tuition reimbursement are available.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing (state Iowa)
• Current CPR Certification
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department.
• Conduct rounds to monitor care delivery and address concerns.

• Manage administrative functions to improve department efficiency.
• Communicate care needs with residents and families.
• Document care to meet standards and regulations.
