Care Initiatives is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON - RN) in Iowa to lead nursing services across our skilled nursing communities. You will support the DON, monitor care delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and coach staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
- Desire to learn and grow as part of a quality clinical team.
- Strong commitment to empathy, respect, patience and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department; help with advancement within the organization.
- Conduct rounds to monitor care delivery and propose improvements.
- Enforce policies and guide the team to foster growth.
- Coach RNs to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
- Manage administrative functions to improve department efficiency.
- Communicate care needs effectively with residents and families.
- Document care to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
- Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
- Participate in on-call rotation with leadership team.
