Job summary

Cabarrus Health & Rehabilitation Center in Concord, NC is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to provide leadership and oversee the nursing team as part of a patient‑focused care team.

You will support the Director of Nursing, develop plans to meet departmental goals, monitor care delivery and outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a positive, engaged work environment for nursing staff.

Qualifications

Active unencumbered RN license in North Carolina.
BSN preferred with strong leadership and clinical knowledge.
Ability to lead a diverse nursing team and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Support the Director of Nursing with leadership and oversight of the nursing team.
Assist in developing plans to meet departmental goals and objectives.
Monitor patient care delivery and outcomes, identify improvements, and implement actions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Foster teamwork, professional growth, and employee engagement.
Partner with Human Resources to recruit, onboard, and retain nursing talent.
Conduct audits to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance patient care and safety.
Perform other duties to provide exceptional care to residents.
