Job summary

Cabarrus Health & Rehabilitation Center in Concord, NC is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team. You will provide hands-on care and work with other healthcare professionals to support residents in regaining and maintaining independence.

As part of our team, you will assist with ADLs, meals, mobility, vital signs, and ensure a safe, clean living environment. Active NC CNA certification is required.

Qualifications

• Active unencumbered certification as a CNA in North Carolina.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ALDs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
• Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well‑being.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
