About This Role

What You'll Do

• Assess health status by completing a nursing assessment.
• Perform telephone triage.
• Notify physician/LIP of abnormal findings.
• Establish a care plan in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
• Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician/LIP and monitor patients for response.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Provide health education to patients and families.
• Participate in quality initiatives, process improvements, and research activities to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum one year recent experience as a Registered Nurse.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification within 6 months of hire if performing moderate sedation procedures or cardiac stress testing.
