Job summary

Orlando Health in Wesley Chapel is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Advanced Care in the Endoscopy department. Graduate of approved nursing school; FL RN license with BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC may be required for certain areas. 1 year of experience expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies, high intensity interventions, and high-level continuous nursing vigilance.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays such as cardiac monitors and ventilators.
• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Assesses patient needs and develops a plan of care aligned to age-specific requirements.
• Coordinates care and delegates appropriately within the care team.
• Documents patient care in a knowledgeable, compliant manner meeting regulatory standards.
