Job summary

The RN will provide complex patient care, monitor critical parameters, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and serve as a patient-family advocate while upholding regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current State of Florida RN license.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced knowledge to care for patients with high-acuity needs.
• Monitors and interprets data from monitoring equipment.
• Develops and revises individualized care plans.
• Documents patient care per standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team and delegates appropriately.
• Serves as a preceptor/charge nurse or unit educator when needed.
