River Grove Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to guide and support our nursing team in providing high-quality, compassionate care for residents. The ideal candidate will mentor staff, oversee daily clinical operations, and collaborate with leadership to uphold regulatory standards.

This leadership role requires an active RN license, long-term care experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of long-term care experience.
• 2 years in a management role preferred.
• 1 year of staff education experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure high-quality, safe resident care.
• Coordinate and manage infection control program, education, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide ongoing staff education and in-services to enhance clinical skills.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and quality assurance, ensuring adherence to guidelines.
• Plan and direct nursing services with cross-department collaboration to achieve resident outcomes.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and evidence-based nursing leadership.
• Oversee documentation and medical records accuracy and timeliness.
• Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of nursing staff.
• Manage daily staffing levels to ensure appropriate coverage and workload balance.
• Foster a positive, flexible work environment and collaborate with the Director of Nursing for improvements.
