Job summary

Cedars of Lebanon is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in the Behavioral Unit. You will provide leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide nursing staff across planning, assessment, and care coordination.

You will oversee RAI processes, MDS data, care plan conferences, and ongoing training, while collaborating with leadership to uphold quality patient care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Experience in long-term care settings.
• 2 years of management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, development, organization, implementation, evaluation, and direction of the nursing department in the behavioral unit.
• Participate in recruiting, selecting, and training department personnel.
• Develop and conduct regular in-service training to meet federal and state regulations.
• Coordinate the RAI process, ensuring timely and accurate MDS, CAA's, and care plans.
• Supervise and guide the completion of assessments, including inputting and transmitting MDS data to the state.
• Facilitate care plan conferences and monthly Quality Management meetings.
• Manage the care planning process to ensure high-quality patient care.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Behavioral Unit. About the Role:

As Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Behavioral Unit, you will play a vital role in leading our nursing department in our behavioral unit. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the planning, development, organization, implementation, evaluation, and direction of the nursing department, participating in recruiting and selecting department personnel, and developing and conducting regular in-service training classes. Additionally, you will coordinate the RAI process, supervise and guide the completion of assessments, facilitate care plan conferences, and manage the care planning process to ensure high-quality patient care.
