Summary: The RN - Administration Supervisor is a member of the Nursing Service Management Team and is responsible for assuring quality patient care. The Supervisor shall participate in staffing by making the necessary adjustments to provide the needed staff on each nursing unit by observing the worked hours per patient day, staff mix, and acuity. The Supervisor will serve as a role model and clinical resource for staff nurses. The Supervisor has the responsibility and authority to direct the Nursing Service Department in the absence of the Directors and Chief Nursing Officer. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.Education / Experience:Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 18 months as a RN required. Previous experience in a hospital Supervisory or Managerial role preferred.License / Certification: Active RN license required, BLS required, ACLS required, PALS required, Chemotherapy administration certification requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
