Allina Health is seeking an RN Administrative Supervisor for Patient Placement at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. This .9 FTE, 12-hour evening/night role supports patient placement, care coordination and communications in the absence of senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 2+ years in an acute care setting with 1 year as charge nurse or similar role.
• Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing required (WI license if working in WI).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; 2+ years of management/leadership experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate patient care functions within the hospital.
• Lead communication systems and resource management in the absence of senior leaders.
• Direct staff and departments to assure delivery of patient care.
• Allocate staffing resources and assist with patient placement decisions.
• Mentor charge nurses on off shifts and weekends.
• Respond to emergencies and patient/family concerns in line with policy.
