Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an experienced nurse leader for a 1.0 FTE daytime role in Minneapolis, MN. You will provide clinical and administrative leadership across nursing services, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities include staff development, budgeting, and coordinating between departments to support organizational goals. Minnesota or Wisconsin licensing may apply; BLS certification required. Weekend involvement is occasional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in nursing required; 3–7 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Master's degree preferred; 2–5 years of leadership experience advantageous.
• Active MN or WI nursing license depending on location; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing practice across defined areas and ensure safe, evidence-based patient care.
• Provide clinical and administrative leadership and foster accountability and staff engagement.
• Coordinate activities between departments and relay information to nursing staff and other disciplines.
• Manage department resources, staffing, budgeting and performance improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor and evaluate nursing staff; maintain regulatory compliance.
