Description

In collaboration with hospital leadership, clinical senior leaders, and departmental supervisors, the RN Administrative Manager (House Supervisor) supports operations, emergency management, and provides administrative leadership during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The role ensures organizational and staff safety, and that patients receive safe, efficient, and high-quality care.

The Administrative Manager oversees the quality, safety, planning, management, and evaluation of operational, administrative, and regulatory activities related to resource allocation and hospital throughput. They supervise staff, manage nursing service activities during their shift, and collaborate with the healthcare team and hospital leadership to facilitate efficient patient flow throughout Children's National Medical Center and the surrounding community.

All nursing practice aligns with legal scopes, national and specialty standards, CNMC policies, and applicable laws. The role emphasizes accountability for personal practice and supports RN community relationships, focusing on community health and well-being.
