Job summary

Detroit Medical Center is seeking an RN Administrative Manager to lead nursing operations at the Hamtramck site. The role reports to nursing leadership and oversees a function or multiple units, driving performance, fiscal management, and staff development.

The position requires a BSN (Master’s preferred) with Michigan RN licensure and at least three years of progressive nursing experience. Regulatory compliance and cross-team collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master’s preferred, if Master’s, degree in Nursing.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan.
• Three years of progressive nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a single major function or multiple nursing units to support Nursing operations.
• Oversee performance metrics, budgeting, staffing, and customer service outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and staff to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Develop and revise departmental procedures and policies; participate in long-range goal setting.
