Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Progressive Care (Acute Care Step-down) Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and manage transitions of care on the Presbyterian Hospital floor in Albuquerque, NM. New graduates may join a mandatory residency program while experienced RNs contribute to a supportive team.

The role offers 12-hour night or day shifts, 0.9 FTE, and opportunities for leadership roles, staff safety initiatives, and relocation

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or higher required.
  • State NM or Compact State Nursing License.
  • BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate nursing care for Progressive Care patients, including direct patient care and patient/family education.
  • Assist with transitions of care and care planning within the unit.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in leadership pathways as opportunities arise.
