Job summary

Kindred Hospital Las Vegas – Flamingo and ARU is a 78-bed facility offering 24/7 clinical care. The RN will plan and deliver patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and staff, and participate in discharge planning for patients in an LTACH setting.

Qualifications include RN licensure, BLS on hire, and 6 months of Medical/Surgical experience preferred. Fluency in English and strong organization are required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required in state of practice
• BLS certification required on hire
• ACLS certification preferred
• 6 months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred
• Fluent English reading and writing required

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Develop and update patient care plans in coordination with patient and family.
• Document patient condition, assessments, plan and interventions in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional team; participate in discharge planning.
• Administer medications following the five rights and hospital policies.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the care team and family as appropriate.
