Kindred Hospital Las Vegas – Flamingo and ARU seeks a Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff, assess patient needs, and coordinate care in a 78-bed LTACH/ARU. The role focuses on hiring, training, and supervising staff, and shaping nursing protocols for quality patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure, BLS, and 2+ years in hospital nursing with 1–2 years in leadership. Strong English communication, confidentiality, and attendance are essential."

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• RN license valid in state of Nevada.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum two years of hospital nursing experience.
• 1–2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.

Kindred Hospital Las Vegas – Flamingo and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 78-bed hospital. With 66 long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) beds, we offer the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. Our ARU has 12 private rooms and is designed for people who have experience the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness and like the LTACH, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. We are located less than 4 miles east of I-15 off of Flamingo Road. We are conveniently located within walking distance of a number of shops and restaurants.

Job Summary

Supervises nursing staff, assesses patients needs and provides nursing care for patients. Plans and organizes training for unit staff members and participates in guidance and educational programs.

Essential Functions

• Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates designated nursing staff; assigns duties and coordinates nursing services.
• Participates in developing nursing protocol and procedures.
• Provides continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.
• Assesses patient needs; participates in providing nursing care; ensures services are carried out and documented appropriately
• Maintains patient health care records.
• Maintains supply inventory records; orders supplies and equipment, as necessary.

Education

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing.

Licenses/Certifications

• Valid state Registered Nurse license.

Experience

Pay Range

Pay Range: $42.00 - $53.27/Hr
