Job summary

Kindred Hospital Paramount and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) in Paramount, CA, seeks a qualified RN to deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients. You will apply the nursing process and advocate for patients while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires CA RN licensure, ACLS/BLS, and at least 1 year in critical care. You will document in EMR, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in California (or multi-state Compact).
• Minimum one year of critical care experience preferred.
• Fluent English with strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care to critically ill patients using the nursing process.
• Supervise care provided by others and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and update nursing care plans with patient/family input.
• Document assessments, care plans, and orders in the EMR.
• Respond to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
