Kindred Hospital Philadelphia - Havertown and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 66-bed facility offering extended recovery care with 24-hour clinical support. It includes 57 LTAC beds and a 9-bed ARU designed for patients after acute injuries or illnesses, located in a medical district near Darby Creek and West Chester Pike.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
• BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum six months’ Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Develops nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicates changes in patient’s condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and team members.
• Participates in discharge planning process.
