Job summary

ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital Melbourne and ARU are seeking a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with collaboration among patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

You will participate in discharge planning, ensure accurate documentation, and support pain management and education. The position requires BCLS and Florida RN licensure, with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma from an accredited program.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Develop and update nursing care plans with patient, family, and care team; participate in discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Document admissions and assessments accurately in the medical record.
• Administer medications using the five rights and ensure patient safety.
