Bay Area Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Acute Psychiatric Unit (APU). The RN will apply nursing processes, teach patients and families, document care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.

The position requires an Oregon RN license and BLS, with experience in acute care or psychiatric care preferred. Night shifts, competitive pay, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensure as RN in Oregon or eligible for transfer.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care or psychiatric settings preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients to establish care plans.
• Develop nursing diagnoses with team.
• Plan and update care according to patient needs.
• Provide medication administration and wound care.
• Teach patients and families about illness and care.
• Document assessments and care in the EMR.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
