Job summary

Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical in Aurora, IL seeks a dedicated RN for full-time night shifts (7p-7:30a) in the Psych Acute Adult department. You will treat patients, educate families, and lead therapeutic groups while coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and experience in behavioral health settings, with a focus on safety and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license required.
• BLS certification must be current upon hire.
• Knowledge of mental health laws and practice standards.
• Experience in inpatient/outpatient behavioral health units.
• Familiar with continuum of care for behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients and educate on mental and medical conditions.
• Provide emotional support and run therapeutic groups.
• Record medical histories, perform tests, operate equipment.
• Administer treatments and medications, follow up care.
• Educate patients and families on illness management.
