Prime Healthcare in Chicago, IL is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor for the Behavioral Health department located at 2233 W Division St. The role supports administrative duties, staffing, and patient care during night shifts in a busy hospital setting.

You will collaborate with the unit Director/Manager, oversee staff orientation, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining high-quality patient care. A BSN and RN license are preferred, with BLS/ACLS required on hire.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required on hire.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• CCRN certificate preferred for Intensive Care.
• NRP required 90 days after hire and maintained.

Responsabilités

• Supports administrative responsibility for the department service functions.
• Develops and implements departmental plans including performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees department orientation and training of personnel.
• Communicates with staff, physicians and administration both written and verbally.
• Responsible for quality of staff and functions during their shift; directs, supervises, and evaluates personnel.
• Performs direct patient care as needed within the scope of practice.
