UnityPoint Health – Des Moines is seeking a full-time RN for the Night shift (7pm-7:30am) with weekend/holiday rotation. A limited-time $20,000 RN sign-on bonus and relocation assistance up to $10,000 are offered for eligible applicants.

The Pediatric Nursing Admin department supports multiple pediatric units and offers comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and flexible scheduling to support professional growth and work-life balance.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice as an RN in Iowa in good standing.
• Minimum of twelve months acute RN experience.
• New graduates or RNs with <12 months must participate in the RN Residency program.

Mansioni

• Assess the needs of patients and families, providing teaching and referrals for continuity of care.
• Develop an individualized plan of care with patient/family and health care team.
• Promptly document to maintain an accurate legal record of care.
• Deliver high-quality care using the nursing process per unit standards.
• Apply a holistic approach considering biopsychosocial, spiritual, educational, safety, and related criteria for patients and families.
• Delegate and provide direction to other health care team members while maintaining accountability for care plans.
