Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is hiring a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Float Pool at University Hospital, Dodd Hall. Minimum qualifications include a 2-year nursing degree, Ohio license, and 2 years’ rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-year College Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN-accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from a CCNE or ACEN-accredited nursing program is preferred.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit is required.
• 2 years of experience in rehabilitation or acute care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care and supervise nursing staff.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care.
• Ensure care aligns with the professional practice model and unit standards.
• Float to Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation units as needed.
