Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Staff Nurse to provide and coordinate care for patients and families in the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model, supervising other care team members.

Minimum qualifications include a 2-year nursing degree and active Ohio license or interim permit; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit required.
• Two years of experience in rehabilitation or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Nurse manages and provides care to patients and families, and directs and supervises nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
• Performs assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, delegation and evaluation of nursing care in line with the professional practice model.
