The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse to manage and provide patient care. In this role, you will oversee nursing care provided by your team and ensure comprehensive patient care strategies are in place.

The staff nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost‑effective care.
The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
Maintains current Ohio RN license. Meets mandatory educational and health requirements. Demonstrates computer skills required to meet job functions.
Harding Hospital at the OSU Wexner Medical Center offers an adult and geriatric inpatient program with 84 beds and provides emergency stabilization, diagnosis and the initial stages of treatment for those requiring inpatient care. Patient‑centered, trauma‑informed care is supported by an interdisciplinary team with a strong focus on staff and patient safety, clinical excellence, and professional growth. The Harding Float Pool staff supports inpatient beds across four psychiatric units with varying adult populations and diagnoses ranging from schizoaffective/ schizophrenia to mood disorders to anxiety.
