HCA Florida Westside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will use nursing models to advocate for patients and contribute to exceptional clinical outcomes within the department.

Responsibilities include pain assessment, procedures, and education for patients and families, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and proactive care.

Formación

• ACLS within 30 days of start date
• BLS within 30 days of start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days of start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 30 days of start date
• RN licensed and state requirements met
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• 1 year of acute care experience

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassessments after interventions.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical providers and documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates patient needs.
• Educates patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up such as diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes for self-management.
