Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, a part of The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a registered nurse to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, professional leadership, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Required qualifications include active Nevada RN license, BLS, and PALS or NRP as needed by department; BSN preferred. Pre-employment assessments may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification; Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under supervisee’s care and demonstrates Service Excellence standards.
