Job summary

The Valley Health System (VHS) invites skilled nurses to join Summerlin Hospital, a 496-bed facility with active maternity, NICU and cardiovascular departments. You will provide safe patient care, lead healthcare teams, and uphold Service Excellence standards in a busy hospital setting.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, Nevada RN license, BLS, and possibly PALS/NRP. BSN preferred; pre-employment assessments are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Nevada RN license.
• BLS Certification current; PALS or NRP as required by department.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
