Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with Pharmacist degree.
• Current state license in good standing.
• BCLS certification.
• Minimum of three months pharmacy experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, JCAHO, HCFA and state guidelines.
• Experience in facilitating teams and writing policies.

Responsibilities

• Discharges duties in accordance with pharmacy standards and physician prescriptions.
• Collaborates with Director of Pharmacy on performance improvement plans.
• Consults with administration and medical staff on regulatory and risk issues.
• Interprets medication orders and ensures safe, appropriate drug therapy.
• Supervises technical staff and assists with clinical and education programs.
• Maintains drug information materials and participates in quality management.
