Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care procedures across hospital per policies and protocols.
• Document and charge for procedures; update patient care plan as needed.
• Verify and initiate physician orders; manage ventilator devices.
• Perform airway management and suction with safety practices.
• Assist in bronchoscopy procedures and ABG sampling; participate in weaning trials.
• Provide patient and family education and timely handoff reports.
