Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional care during night shifts, following physician orders and established guidelines.

The role requires RN licensure in Georgia, BLS certification, and a BSN is preferred; ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications are a plus. Weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience as an RN (preferred).
• ACLS, PALS, NRP or other clinical specialty certifications are welcome.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Adhere to Georgia Nurse Practice Act scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
