Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 24 hours per week on a rotating shift at our Christiana Hospital on the 5A Stepdown Unit. The role involves caring for a complex adult patient population as part of an interprofessional team.

BSN is required with BLS certification and at least one year of acute/subacute experience. The unit emphasizes relationship-based care and ongoing professional growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• BSN is required for the role.
• ADN candidates may be considered with a 3-year BSN completion commitment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute or subacute care.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a 4-5 patient assignment on the 5A unit.
• Work alongside interdisciplinary teams including PT, RT, pharmacy and techs.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care guided by our values.
• Support orientation and ongoing development in nursing practice.
