Good Samaritan in Ellis, KS seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide individualized care using the nursing process for residents. You will collaborate with residents, families and a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, conducting assessments, educating residents and delegating tasks as charge nurse when needed, while maintaining compliance with nursing standards and ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state where practice occurs.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff as needed.
