Lockport Rehab & Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and lead a fully staffed CNA group in delivering exceptional care to our residents. The role emphasizes medication administration, supervision of CNAs, and thorough documentation to support resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York state.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians using the five rights system.
• Supervise, direct, and support CNAs in daily duties.
• Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to Unit Manager or Nurse Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with residents' individualized care plans.
• Handle and document all aspects of controlled substances and medication storage.
• Accurately chart in Nursing Notes, MARs, Treatment Records, and Care Plans.

Your Role as an RN:

As an RN at Lockport Rehab & Health Care Center, you\'ll take the lead in delivering top-tier care while supporting and guiding a fully staffed team of CNAs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians using the “five rights” system
