Job summary

St. Bernards Healthcare in Arkansas is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care daily. The role reports to a Director and patient care managers, with expectations of overtime as needed.

The incumbent must hold an active AR RN license and be able to operate hospital equipment; exposure to a typical hospital environment and safety policies applies.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or permit as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience in hospital settings or similar clinical environments.
• Knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures; ability to operate technical equipment as learned during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients on a daily basis.
• Under supervision of the Director, Patient Care Manager, Assistant Patient Care Manager, and RN in charge, with overtime and call-back as required.

• Knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures, patient care procedures; ability to operate technical equipment as acquired through orientation.
• Physical
• Normal hospital environment. Exposure to biological hazards. Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.

• JOB SUMMARY

Incumbents are subject to overtime and call-back as required by the hospital.
