Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse in Kalona, Iowa to care for a pediatric patient in the patient’s home. The role is Full Time Days with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and coordinating with prescribers. Qualifications include an active RN license for the state, Health Certificate, PPD/Chest X-Ray, BLS, and at least one year of RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in the state.
• Health certificate required per contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Initiates plan of care and revises with prescriber input as needed.
• Implements therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Responds to changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and monitors effectiveness of interventions.
• Reviews care plans and coordinates education, discharge planning when applicable.

Hourly Pay: $38 / hour

Maxim Healthcare is hiring in Kalona, Iowa for a Registered Nurse to work with a Pediatric patient in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
