Maxim Healthcare in Burlington, Iowa is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide in-home pediatric care for a child in their own home. The role involves nursing process planning, medication administration, and care coordination across the team.

The RN must hold an active Iowa RN license, BLS, and a Health Certificate. Competitive hourly pay of $38, with weekly paychecks and a full benefits package including health/dental/vision options and PTO.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care when needed.
• Initiates the plan of care and communicates revisions as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Intervenes as needed for changes in patient status and reports to physician/supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and identifies education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.

Maxim Healthcare is hiring in Burlington, Iowa for a Registered Nurse to work with a Pediatric patient in their own homes.

Available shifts:

• Monday and Tuesday (7:30a-4:30p)
• Thursday and Fridays (7:45a-5p)
• Monday through Friday Days (8a-4p)

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
