Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in-home care for pediatric patients in Webster City, Iowa. This PRN weekend shift role offers competitive pay and weekly paychecks.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, administering medications, and coordinating with physicians. Required RN license, health certificate, and BLS; prior RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state in which you practice.
• Active Health Certificate as required by contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in home settings.
• Initiates the plan of care and revisions as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments, monitors effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and coordinates education, care, and discharge needs.

Maxim Healthcare is hiring in Webster City, Iowa for a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
