Job summary

Blakehurst Senior Living in Towson, MD is seeking Registered Nurses for part-time shifts (7:00am-7:30pm and evening/night rotations). Pay ranges from $35 to $45 per hour based on experience, with evening/night shift differential.

The community offers educational scholarships, free parking, transportation, DailyPay, and a supportive work environment. Responsibilities include supervising direct care, administering medications, rounds, and coordinating with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• All nurses must be currently licensed in the State.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• At least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Encourages restorative care to obtain maximum resident independence.
• Participates in family/resident counseling, as necessary.
• Assists with orientation and evaluation of nursing personnel.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Assures proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies.

Blakehurst is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team! You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high-quality patient care. The RN is responsible for the overall nursing care/service on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated.

All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community also require that we request vaccination status that he/she had testing done for measles, mumps, rubella, & varicella (MMRV) to ensure immunity.
