Job summary

Pain Diagnostic and Treatment Center in California is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. This role offers M-F daytime hours with no weekends, nights, calls, or holidays.

You will implement physician orders, maintain continuity and quality of nursing care, assess patient condition, ensure safety, and assist physicians in the procedure rooms with perioperative tasks including conscious sedation and sterile technique. Prepare patients for discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CA Registered Nurse License.
• Current BLS and ACLS.
• ASC experience a plus.
• Good communication and human relations skills.
• Ability to organize and follow through on own initiative.
• Thorough knowledge of perioperative processes and anesthesia implications.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse at Pain Diagnostic and Treatment Center:

Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, the Registered nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients'' condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all time. At times, assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate. Responsible for providing total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation. Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
