Job summary

Pain Diagnostic and Treatment Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will implement physician orders, ensure continuity and quality of nursing care, and continually evaluate patient status to uphold safety, comfort and privacy.

Under Clinical Director supervision, duties include assisting in procedure rooms with sedation and sterile technique, and coordinating discharge planning with patients and families. CA RN license and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current CA Registered Nurse License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ASC experience a plus.
• Strong communication and human relations skills.
• Ability to organize and follow through on own initiative.
• Thorough knowledge of perioperative processes and anesthesia implications.

Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders and provide continuity/quality of nursing care.
• Evaluate patient condition continuously and ensure safety, comfort and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile technique as appropriate.
• Provide total patient care from anesthesia/sedation to discharge planning and family education.

Registered Nurse at Pain Diagnostic and Treatment Center

Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, the Registered nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients'' condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all time. At times, assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate. Responsible for providing total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation. Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current CA Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS and ACLS
• ASC experience a plus
• Good communication and human relations skills
• Ability to organize and follow through on own initiative.
• Thorough knowledge of all phases of perioperative process including knowledge of surgical procedures and anesthesia implications.

Hourly Range: $54- $66
