Job summary

ICON Eyecare is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician to join our Colorado clinics. You will prepare patients for eye exams, assist clinicians, and help ensure excellent patient experiences across our Denver, Lone Tree, and surrounding locations.

The role emphasizes accurate testing, EHR entry, insurance pre-authorizations, and teamwork within a busy ophthalmology setting. Training is provided, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Previous ophthalmic technician experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for medical eye exams with the clinical doctor by completing preliminary testing.
• Complete prior authorizations for patient medications.
• Utilize EHR to capture patient history and vision concerns.
• Support patient experiences and clinic mission.
• Collaborate with clinicians and teammates in the clinic.
