Lapeer County Medical Care Facility in Lapeer, MI is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care across admission through discharge in our 202-bed skilled nursing facility.

You will deliver nursing care, educate residents, administer meds, document care, and supervise staff. RN license and CPR required; experience in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid RN state license and CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care and geriatric nursing preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English proficiently.

Responsibilities

Lapeer County Medical Care Facility features a 32 bed secure Dementia Unit with special programming for the Alzheimer’s residents. Also, on the facility grounds, is a State of Michigan license child care learning center, licensed for 49 children ranging from two months to six years old.
