Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in New Jersey.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents according to individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and document changes in clinical records.
• Supervise CNAs and LPNs, providing guidance and support.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and families to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies, including infection control and safety protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed.
• Educate residents and families on health management and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments and interventions.
