Job summary

Florham Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN to join our care team in Florham Park, NJ. Shifts include Per Diem: 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm, and Full-time: 11pm-7am, with compensation at $40–$47 per hour, all inclusive.

This role emphasizes compassionate, high-quality nursing care within a 53-bed sub-acute and long-term care facility. The RN will deliver skilled clinical care, monitor resident conditions, and ensure care plans are followed.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in NJ.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per nursing standards, physician plan of treatment, and written plans of care.
• Follow care plans developed by Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per plan of care.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per physician orders and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and nursing regulations.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician's plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents' conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of NJ.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
