Job summary

Royal Terrace Healthcare in Duarte, CA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to plan and deliver resident care per standards. The role requires current CA RN license and CPR certification, with 1–3 years of direct care experience in a Skilled Nursing setting.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, monitor residents, and adhere to care plans and regulations. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents preferred; previous experience in Skilled Nursing environment desirable
• Nursing degree from accredited college or graduation from approved RN program required
• Must possess current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in California
• Current valid CPR certification required
• Maintains knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance and use (monitors, infusion devices, drains)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and monitors residents' condition and provides professional nursing care in accordance with care plan and doctor's orders.
• Provides input in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care in conjunction with facility interdisciplinary team members.
• Initiates emergency support measures when needed.
• Coordinates resident admission, transfer, and/or discharge including completing appropriate forms and required documentation in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
• Performs assessment functions including identification of changes in the resident's physical or psychological condition (i.e., changes in lab data, vital signs, mental status).
• Ensures that nursing history is present in medical record for all residents.

RN POSITION SUMMARY

Salary Range: $45 - $55/hr*

*The salary range is the one that Royal Terrace Healthcare reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual salary will depend on several factors (e.g., experience, educations, qualifications, etc.).
