Job summary

Royal Gardens Healthcare in California is seeking a dedicated RN to plan and deliver nursing care to residents in accordance with current standards and regulations, ensuring high-quality care and dignity at all times.

The role involves evaluating residents, coordinating admissions/discharges, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to uphold standards of care. Requires CA RN license and CPR, with 1–3 years of direct care experience in a Skilled Nursing setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents preferred; previous experience in Skilled Nursing environment desirable
• Nursing degree from accredited college or graduation from approved RN program required
• Must possess current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in California
• Current valid CPR certification required
• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e. monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.

• Evaluates and monitors residents' condition and provides professional nursing care in accordance with care plan and doctor's orders.
• Provides input in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care in conjunction with facility interdisciplinary team members.
• Initiates emergency support measures when needed.
• Coordinates resident admission, transfer, and/or discharge including completing appropriate forms and required documentation in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
• Performs assessment functions including identification of changes in the resident's physical or psychological condition (i.e., changes in lab data, vital signs, mental status).
• Ensures that nursing history is present in medical record for all residents.

RN POSITION SUMMARY

Salary Range: $42.00 - $50.00/hr*

*The salary range is the one that Royal Gardens Healthcare reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual salary will depend on several factors (e.g., experience, educations, qualifications, etc.).
